Here's another thing you can try.... Search the registry for any NOIDE entry and delete the key. It may also be NO_IDE or BAD_IDE be sure to search for all of them then reboot. The most likely place:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\SERVICES\VXD\IOS
Be sure to search for all occurences of ...

Lobo , I see you use it with Cable...Do you run behind a Router ? I read a post that someone tried it with Cable/Router and had problems...I ask because I using it with DSL/Router and it works fine...I just glad to see a program like Net.Medic that works with DSL/Cable..... :D

Your settings look good , those are the same settings I used when I used the SpeedTouch USB Modem...Does your modem look like a stingray and is either green or gray ? If so make sure you have the latest drivers ,the latest one are reported to improve throughput for some people. You can get them here ...

Kismatic, the answer is Yes....

Lance , what version of NSW do you have ? Norton Disk Doctor is like Windows Scan Disk. I have NSW 2001, had 2000 and the Norton Optimization Wizard was in with Speed Disk...At least I thought it was....

Have you checked the Intellipoint settings or reinstalled the Intellipoint drivers ? You might try removing the mouse from the Device Mgr. and let Windows find it again...If that does no good call this # 888.218.5617 for MS products...Good Luck.. :D

Glad to help....The setting you have look Ok ,it doesn't matter what the total amount of memory you run...here's the setup I have..

SPD = Yes

SDRAM Cas = Auto

DRAM Clock = Auto

here's why , if you set the SPD to YES that will set set the other two to AUTO and by doing that it will turn on 4-way ...
