Plz Help w/ Broadband!!

Hey,

I have Windows XP Home and I got a BT ADSL service (512K) - Speedtouch USB Modem. Is it possible to upgrade my speeds?? I have tried the patches on the site but they dont work too well. Thanx a lot!

yes you should be able to up grade speeds for example ameritech has a 768/128 or 1.5./256up call up ur provider also don't foret to look for cable modem service just in case you can't find dsl for what you wan or whatever
http://www.dslreports.com will help you find other providers if needed.

As for right now make sure you have the modem connected through ethenernet then usb using usb will casuse speed to drop.

I don't think http://www.dslreports.com will show providers in the UK...

I think he mean't tweaking his connection to make it go faster.
