Tweak the maximum concurrent connections in Firefox ?

Tags: ,
The "MaxConnectionsPerServer" Internet Explorer tweak has a Firefox equivalent that does not involve editing the Windows Registry. Firefox has a more reasonable value of 8 max connections per server (as opposed to 4 in IE). 8 connections is probably enough in most cases.

Still, if you want to change the number of max concurrent connections:

In the address bar, type: about:config
Look for: network.http.max-connections-per-server

Problem being that some webservers may start dropping/delaying connections if they see over 10 concurrent connections from the same client IP...

How to check how many concurrent connections are opened at the same time? is there any plugin or addons are there for Mozilla FireFox?

Why Firefox with 15 is still faster than Chrome with only 6 for me.
