This router integrates MIMO (Multiple In, Multiple Output) technology that can use signal reflections to increase the range and reduce "dead spots" of wireless coverage area. It supports multi-operation modes: AP, AP Client (Station Infrastructure), Bridge, WDS, and WISP.
The integrated AP supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption. It uses WMM (QoS) to prioritize the traffic over the network. A WPS button allows for worry-free wireless security configuration.
The WRTR-505N provides VPN pass-through for IPSec and PPTP. It features a built-in firewall to protect the network against Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. It can be easily configured via Web-based configuration utility, including a Quick Setup Wizard.
