have you tried the cable modem straight to the machine concerned..

seeing if it is the router

what happens if you connect your cable modem straight to your NIC ????

have you set the router firewall up so they allow downloading from the ip addy of the machine

depends what wireless protocol she is on.. 802.11 is it b/g..

it may help out the guys on here a little more to know that info as they use different speeds.

but i will probably be corrected..

also have you set up the security on the wireless you dont want some spotty oik outside your house ...

you should be able to open the ports you need on your settings page..

192.168.*.* should be something like that ... that is were i open my ports for downloading

if so you solely depend on seeders to be uploading ... are they well seeded torrents.also depends if you have the right firewall settings for the torrent package and the settings right in the torrent package..

try resetting the modem by disconnecting power for ...

if the phone can be moved .... move it to see what happens..

i totally agree went to see this the other night and i must say from watching the original (which was very very good) i didnt hold up much hope the remake was going to be any good...from past experience with remakes..

get a mobile phone that can collect pop email.. i have a nokia 6280 and i can get my email from anywere in the world

if not you should be able to use oulook express with the pop and smtp details to collect but as stated you will need even the most basic of internet connections

a cd player has only 1 lense the lense is either write or read..

so a normal cd disk cleaner will surfice

none of them will have problems downloading torrents as long as you follow the guides supplied on most decent torrent sites..

it is down to you mate everyone on here will have a different opinion i suppose...

depending on were you live i am doing a MCSE course and i have opted to go through comptia a+ and then comptia N+ and then go through to MCSE and not even bother with the MCSA part as you cover it anyway..

i would get a networking job operating on either a small or large network of machines then ...

other than that if you can try it and use the modem via USB if that works then it is obvious if it doesnt it is defo the modem..
