A Moment of Your Time for Cancer...Please!

Post by minir »

A favor to ask, it only takes a minute....Please tell ten friends to tell ten today! The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "donating a mammogram" for free (pink window in the middle).

This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising.

Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know.

http://www.thebreastcancersite.com/

AGAIN,PLEASE TELL 10 FRIENDS TO TELL 10 TODAY

What if we dont have 10 friends, oh god now my life sucks and its all cuz of "thebreastcancersite" I'm incomplete and alone in a horrible world of neglect!

On a serious note, if their underprivileged but overly developed and cute, I'd be willing to lend my hands to the cause at no charge.

I went a little better than 10.

I also threw together a "Community Services Billboard" and included a little poop on the free mammograms and a link to the clicky page. That page will get indexed.

If there's any problem, like if they can't have soliciting for the site, pm me.
I just got a call, have to run on an emergency biz call, a sys is down. That page I threw up, I'm not done with it, have to rework how i've got the folding linked to on my home page, etc... & going to add folding to the cs page.

I have to shut down and boot into linux, then run, I'll check back later. ;)

it is indeed a worthy charity ...

myself and a friend of mine a last year did a 50 mile treadmill run non stop..

we accomplished 2 things we raised £35,000 and also we broke the world record we did it in 8 hours and 45 mins

you should see it the new guiness book that comes out this year

sorry i dont have 10 friends but we are aiming to do the london marathon this year to raise more money for them

but we already have a sponsor for the london marathon for an estimated £10,000 so it looks like another good year for money for our run

This bump made me think Minir had come back.

On the other hand can't be mad at this thread...that would be wrong.
