Founded in 1995, ADB initially focused on developing and marketing software for the most advanced digital TV processors. In 1997 the business expanded into the design and manufacture of digital TV equipment.

Responding to the challenges and opportunities of the digital TV market, ADB has pioneered the emerging DTV industry, providing its customers with technically challenging and heavily customised products.

With over 15 million digital set-top boxes sold to a worldwide customer base, ADB has expanded its business globally with established offices in Australia, India, Italy, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States.
