The EW 4440 is a simultaneous dual band wireless video bridge that delivers High Definition Video Streaming from the video source to multiple client adapters. It utilizes 3x3 MIMO Wi-Fi technology and delivers wireless speeds of up to 450Mbps per band.
The device works as an Access Point (AP) paired with one or more EW 4440 5GHz Client devices (STA) to achieve reliable video distribution while retaining the capability to simultaneously serve any 2.4GHz Wi-Fi client thanks to its dual-radio architecture.
High throughput and signal robustness are achieved thanks to enhanced implementation of the IEEE 802.11n protocol which comprises implicit/explicit dynamic digital beamforming, 3x3 MIMO with the support of 3 spatial streams with unequal modulation per stream, Low-Density Parity Check (LDPC) and Space Time Block Coding (STBC).
The product is equipped with WPS allowing for plug and play installation.
