The NWA1300-NJ features an "electrical outlet box" design to provide flexibility for WLAN deployments. With the built-in Ethernet port, it offers wired network in addition to the wireless connectivity as well. The NWA1300-NJ also provides a phone port for interior designers to utilise the conventional phone network.
The PoE support of NWA1300-NJ makes it easier to overcome installation difficulties, as ZyXEL's PoE switches and other 802.3af standard-based PoE devices can transmit power and data to the NWA1300-NJ simultaneously through CAT-5 Ethernet cables to provide flexible installation options for locations that are difficult to lay standard wires.
In addition to the Web-based configuration utility, network administrators can utilize the ZyXEL Enterprise Network Center (ENC) software to manage hundreds of NWA1300-NJs via the graphical, profile-based control panel.
