Zhone's 6238 VoIP ADSL2+ Gateway is a powerful Integrated Access Device (IAD) that provides consistent toll-quality voice services and high-speed data over the Internet for residential and business customers. This gateway integrates VoIP, ADSL2+ and WiFi 802.11g technlogies.
The 6238 implements the VoIP standard protocol SIP achieving out-of-the-box interoperability with the industry leading softswitches, gateways, and DSLAMs.
The 6238 comes with many features that meet the needs of the most discerning user including integrated routing and bridging, PPPoA, PPPoE, NAT, DHCP Server and Client, Life-line POTS, voice and data QoS, and VPN pass-through support.
