The TWG870 is a VoIP wireless cable router with four 10/100/1000Base-T LAN ports, one USB port and a two FXS ports for VoIP. It is DOCSIS / EuroDOCSIS 3.0 compliant and provides WAN throughput of up to 440Mbps.

The integrated access point complies with IEEE 802.11n (draft) standard, providing wireless transmission speeds of up to 100Mbps. It supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption and 802.1x authentication. A WPS button allows for easy wireless security configuration.

The TWG870 supports a variety of VoIP features, such as Caller ID, 3-way conferencing and Echo Cancellation.

A built-in SPI firewall protects the network against hackers and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.

Very poor device. No fixed IP,no propoer MANUAL, no proper MAC address filtering. Had Cisco beofre and that was class. Thomson is just crap compared to Cisco.

What are you complaining about ? This device is good enough and works fine. Read a book and understand the products before bashing!

Does anybody know how the usb port works? i mean, can i connect for example a printer?

The sleepy fool who couldn't set his router up is a dimwitted sulky noob ignore his childish nonsense.

The USB port is only for directly connecting your PC. No no one has ever done it. There used to be something similar on the netopias, again no one ever used it.

The wireless function is very poor, the configuration menu is a nightmare, and the device needs to be restarded every week to function properly
