The DG834 is an ADSL1/2/2+ router with one RJ-11 WAN port and four 10/100Mbps LAN ports. It supports NAT routing, DMZ and DNS proxy.

This router provides VPN pass-through for L2TP and PPTP. It features a built-in SPI firewall to protect the network against hackers and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.

This device can be easily configured via Web-based configuration utility or via SNMP v.1/v.2.

Right!

There is a new model, DG834B (this is the European version so there is probably also an "A" version). It has VPN/IPsec support and can make use of both PPPoE and PPPoA. And to have something more to switch offl, it can do UPnP.

Drawbacks: It takes a long time to start (but then it does crash maybe once a year, operated 24/7). And the funny case gets pretty hot, keep it in the shadow.
