The CME31B is a EuroDOCSIS 3.0 cable modem with one 10/100/1000Base-T LAN port. It is backwards compatible with DOCSIS 1.0/ DOCSIS 2.0/ DOCSIS 3.0 standarts.

CME31B bonds eight downstream channels and four upstream channels to deliver usable downstream data rates up to 400 Mbps with 120 Mbps upstream. The CME31B also provides hybrid mode. This feature allows the service provider to deploy the CME31B in a network that uses EuroDOCSIS 8 MHz downstream channels.

This modem can act as a DHCP client/ server. It supports VPN pass-through for IPSec and PPTP and can be configured via Telnet/CLI or via SNMP v.1/ v.2/ v.3.
