The Hitron CMA-39340 IPTV Gateway delivers high-speed data transmission through coaxial cable, bonding up to 4 downstream channels with speeds up to 200 Mbps from network to the user and 4 upstream channels with up to 120Mbps from the user to the network. Discrete narrowband tuners provide frequency agility. There is no limitation on the bonding channel frequency.
Complied with the latest EuroDOCSIS 3.0 specifications, the CMA-39340 offers backward compatibility with (Euro)DOCSIS 1.1/2.0. It allows MSOs to offer their end-customers various broadband applications such as high-speed Internet access, HD video on demand over IP, interactive multimedia services and etc.
The multiple tuners design enables the IPTV applications on CMA-39340. It can support several solutions based on the DOCSIS IPTV Bypass Architecture (DIBA) and MPEG to IP encapsulation for viewing cable and linear broadcast video in home network.
