UOW2000-AP68 is an outdoor wireless access point with aluminum case for dust tight, watertight, and weatherproof protection to meet IP68 industry standard. It is Wi-Fi compliant with 802.11g/b standards and supports IEEE802.3af Power Over Ethernet (PoE) standard that provides power and data over existing network cables.

The UOW2000-AP68 provides WDS bridging function, allowing users to connect two or more access points together. It also provides Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) operation for transparent bridging and roaming capabilities for wireless nodes.

The device serves as DHCP server that can automatically assign IP addresses to wireless clients. This device can be installed by the simple setup wizard provided as a part of the Web-based management utility.
