The BR-6424n is a wireless broadband router. It has a single 10/100Base-T WAN port and four 10/100Base-T Ethernet LAN ports. Using advanced MIMO technology, it's wireless data transmission rate can be 12 times better (up to 300Mbps) and the coverage can be 6 times better than a standard 802.11g/b router. The router features a built-in on/off switch, allowing you to turn on/ turn off wireless connections.
The integrated access point complies with the IEEE 802.11n (draft 2.0) standard. It can operate in different modes, including access point, wireless client, wireless bridge and repeater. It supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption. A WPS button allows for worry-free wireless security configuration.
The router supports VPN pass-through for IPSec and PPTP. A built-in SPI firewall protects the network against hackers and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
