Comtrend NL-3112u

details: N300 WiFi 4 A/VDSL Bonded Gateway
hardware type: DSL Wireless Router
date added: 2022-04-20
updated: 2022-05-08
The NL-3112u multi DSL bonded router is a single box solution for triple play applications. It features VDSL2 bonding, which provides twice the downstream bandwidth (8, 12, 17MHz profiles) over comparable single-port models.

The NL-3112u supports ADSL2+ fallback when connected to an ADSL2+ bonded-capable DSLAM. With PTM mode support, it can provide better performance than a regular ATM mode router. The NL-3112u is equipped with three Fast Ethernet ports, one Gigabit FlexPort and an high-power 802.11n WLAN Access Point (AP). Additionally, the NL-3112u features QoS, VPN and remote management with TR-069 support.

The NL-3112u supports VDSL2 single line and bonding up to 17a with auto-switching based on DSLAM settings. An integrated high-power 802.11n WLAN Access Point (AP) operates at speeds of up to 300 Mbps without sacrificing backward compatibility with 802.11b/g. The TR-068 compliant rear panel and LED indicators also simplify installation and improve ease-of-use. Additionally, the USB host port connects to printers.

As the first level of protection, a Stateful Firewall (with DoS protection) and NAT/PAT help to isolate the LAN from external threats. IP and MAC address filtering provide access control to or from the network. Advanced security technologies, such as Virtual Private Networks (VPN) with PPTP pass-through, L2TP pass-through and IPSec pass-through ensure secure networking, and WPA/WPA2/802.1x/WEP provide secure wireless connections.

TR-069/TR-098/TR-111 standards compatibility ensures interoperability with central office remote management equipment. Other management options include telnet, ssh and a web user interface with advanced control functionality.
