The Asus RT-N16 is a multi-functional Gigabit Wireless N Router with USB storage, printer and media server. RT-N16 has enough bandwidth and processing power to simultaneously handle file transfers and downloads, video streaming, games and VoIP calls. It support up to 300,000 sessions for extensive P2P clients.

Ther router provides two USB 2.0 ports for storage device and USB printer, to allow sharing and printing of files across the network.

- below average wireless N throughput at long distances when compared to other 300Mbps N routers... Could be improved with better antennas.

1) bad sides

a)poor marketing-copy of 500W
aa)high price 160$
b)power supply unit and joint connector to router is ultra-low quality
c)some capacitors in USB powerlines is absent ? due low pcb clearance
d)very slow RAM and in BGA pakage , u cant resolder RAM
e_mega-freakin resource eating USB , with MAX effective datarate 4 mb\s
f)ultra-freakin high brightness blue leds ( Amber is best in dark )
g) poor reverse-SMA

a) Average+ wifi
b) Alternate\Entusiast\Oleg firmware aviable. Oleg is best !
c) Gigabit lan really support big MTU
