The AC-1200R's dual radio system is designed for digital home applications. The 5GHz network is less vulnerable to interference; therefore, it is suitable for video streaming and game networks. The 2.4GHz radio provides a separate network for computers, tablet PC, and smart phones. Hi-Power radios and MIMO antennas enable the AC-1200R to provide wider coverage and faster speeds at further distance.
Each radio can operate in different modes for up to 5 different wireless modes: Dual band Router, Dual AP mode, WISP + AP, WDS + AP, Client + AP.
The free AirLive Central software can discover your router automatically, let you change settings, or even upgrade firmware in a very easy to use interface.
In addition, the AC-1200R includes 5 Gigabit LAN ports for fast wired connectivity to a NAS or PC clients.
