Google introduces AI-powered grammar check in search bar

2023-08-08 12:25 by

Google has added a new artificial intelligence-powered grammar checker in its search engine. While Gmail and Docs have had grammar and spelling checks for a while, this is a new feature for Search.

The new AI-powered grammar check, which is only available in English so far, can help users see if "a phrase or sentence is written in a grammatically correct way or how to correct it, if not."

It's a pretty easy feature to use. Enter a sentence or phrase into Google Search, followed with the word: "grammar check" or "check grammar" or "grammar checker". Sometimes these phrases aren't even needed, but using them will ensure that the tool will pop up.

For users who require assistance with grammar, Google will provide the suitable correction. The feature can be accessed on both Google desktop and mobile platforms, making it convenient for users to enhance their writing skills while on the go.

By incorporating an AI-powered grammar check, Google aims to address one of the common challenges faced by users while writing. This new feature can be particularly useful for those who write in English, ensuring that their content is grammatically accurate.
