Edimax launches Pro Series access points at CES 2015

Edimax has announced the launch of its Pro series WAP1750 & CAP1200 access points at CES 2015. The Edimax Pro series is a range of high performance, reliable and affordable Wi-Fi solutions for modern businesses.

CAP1200WAP1750Ceiling mounted, certified flame-retardant and high-speed with the latest IEEE 802.11ac technology, the CAP1200 offers concurrent 2.4GHz & 5GHz dual-band coverage as well as a scalable AP array architecture for central management of multiple access points across one organization. A built-in RADIUS server provides an additional layer of security and up to 32 SSIDs can be configured for different departments or user groups, while the ceiling-mountable design is compact and robust with a UL94-5VB flame-retardant plastic housing.

The WAP1750 provides 802.11ac speeds up to 1300Mbps, concurrent 2.4GHz & 5GHz dual-band coverage and high density networking with support for up to 100 users, ideal for applications in hotels, hospitals, offices, universities and resorts. With a 27.5dBm detachable, directional antenna for extensive Wi-Fi coverage and the option to upgrade for even more power, along with multiple SSIDs, Power over Ethernet support and a built-in RADIUS server (with support for 256 accounts), the WAP1750 is robust enterprise-grade access point for easy and cost-effective business WLAN deployment.
