I'm about to go out and buy Independence War 2: Edge of Chaos. Was wondering if anyone has played it, and more importantly played the multiplayer. Is it worth getting? I'm a huge fan of the original, but have been cautious of sequels. Let me know

My friend has a netgear rt314 at his office, it stopped working for some reason. The router responds to both the http and telnet. for some reason it can't obtain a WAN IP. I've tried forcing a renewel in telnet, but to no avail. Also, attempted powercycling, erasing and reinstalling firmware. Its ...

a data collision is when two or more nodes(PC or other) send data at the same time. This usually happens in a high activity ethernet enviroment. if it blinks alot of the time consistently, and affects the networks performance. then you should look into it. if it only blinks randomly every once and a ...

Hey slurpie,

Pop Quiz for Network Champs
Real quick question. i wanted to know if anyone can answer this. The minimum frame ethernet can send is 64 bytes(octets). Why is this? 2 hints. it has to do with the CD in CSMA/CD. And the old 10Base5 ethernet's 5-4-3 rule. If you think im insane thats ok. my boss asked me this and i figured it out ...

Hey Chrosby. Well you can install NIC cards in each of the PC's and use ICS if you have Win98SE on the PC with the modem or another type of software. This probably wont work because the Internal modem you have does downstream only and its an ISA card that basically sucks. Or you can call Adelphia ...
