Good morning all,
I have been using PC Pitstop for a long time and always got scores of 700 or better.
For the past 2 days, I'm getting a "low memory performance" indication and have no idea why. I've tested both 256 mgz. sticks by themselves and both work fine. There have been no changes or ...

I have an old SB/Live Value sound card from my Gateway system along with the Boston Accoustics 3 piece speakers.
My problem is the speaker volume control is non functional. (I can only control the volume from the icon in the sys. tray)
Should I upgrade to a better card or speakers or both?
Thanks ...

I have an IBM 40 gig hd with w2k/pro and an IBM 20 gig hd with w98/se.
I know I can pick the bootable hd in the bios by changing the boot order but there must be a better way.
The 40 gig is on a Promise ata controller and the 20 gig is p/slave on the mobo. Any ideas?
Thanks,tom :rolleyes ...

hs/fan help
I just put together an asus CUSL2C and a p-3 1 gig cpu.
It idles at about 32-34 c using the stock hs/fan. I don't oc and I know cooler is better.
Running w2k/p with 256 megs ram.
Any suggestions on a better hs/fan combo that doesn't sound like a jet engine?
I'm kinda new to this, and any help is ...

In the bios, I can't set it to boot from the hard drive because of the Promise ata 66 controller.
Any ideas on how to make the ata 66 load ...
