Howdy ppz
How can I find the manufacturar and the brand, and the model name of my mother board, other than goin thru the hardware itself.
Is there any software that can determine the brand name of the hardware in my computer, especially my motherboard.
TY

if its an Award or an AMI BIOS, there are databases of BIOS strings. just do an internet search for "motherboard ID".
here's a fairly decent source of mobo info. http://navigation.helper.realnames.com/framer/1/0/default.asp?realname=SysOpt%2Ecom+Motherboard+Information+Page&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Esysopt%2Ecom%2Fmboard%2Ehtml&frameid=1&provi derid=0&uid=30005699
