this is probably a silly question, but i am wondering if I/O Meter will work with an AMD chipset-based system. i have tried in the past with no success......
i am aware of other benchmarking apps, but i am curious to see if its possible to get it to work on the systems i have (both AMD).
Intel's I/O Meter on an AMD chipset?

The hard disk benchmarks is always generic , you are not the only one that tryes the INTEL benchmark and it did not worked .
I had try it too , and i have INTEL based system , well i have win2k and this one looks to open dos window to work or something ..
I stoped to bother with it ,as many others like HD tach - and Sandra will give some good reports about your over all disk performance .

My computer is my pride, so be careful with your comments about it !!
thank you for the reply. i also like HDTack 2.61, but i cannot get it to tun advanced size check with my IDE RAID array. i know the trick to get Promise controllers to work, but not the one i have (Highpoint 370). Sandra is OK, but i like how HDTach maps performance across the platters instead of just a single number.
thanks
