I got a Compaq years ago. Ended-up removing all the Compaq junk. Gutted the thing & re-made it. Has that STUPID low-voltage thing.
It is now PC #3.

It also came with an AMD processor 'rated' at 366 Mhz. Turned-out to be 250 Mhz.

AMD will NEVER get the chance to burn me again.

Ran a diagnostic & learned it was actually a 250 Mhz, but 'rated' at 366 Mhz.

Stayed away from AMD ever since. AMD has long since lost their Credibility.

My scanner quit when I upgraded to Win ME. Updated driver from site to ME driver. Didn't work. Only works with Win98, so I put it on anther PC that runs Win98 & it is fine now.

My wife is a teacher. She would Drool over the prospect of having a dozen 133Mhz w/ 16 MB of RAM for her students.

If they had a CD=ROM, Floppy & Monitor, she would be in Heaven.

Many companies just hace 'terminal stations' for each location [a keyboard & monitor only]. Monitors & keyboards are connected to a 'hub' which goes to the 'mainframe' PC.

Use 'styling gel' to hold hair down until it gets long enuf to stay down on its own.

Only use 'factory sharpened' scissors, like "ICE" brand scissors for any trimming.

ICE brand scissors cost about $80. and can be sent-in to be 'microsopically' sharpened.

Using Ordinary scissors Breaks hair off ...

U can get a prog like 'Partition Magic' and create a 15GB partition & a 5GB partition [or whatever #].

I prefer 1 partition myself & do it from HDD disk.
