Keep at it Evil. You can do it dude...
It took me a few times to quit, but you CAN do it.

The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.
dude i totally understand. i cant even quit smoking and i need to. its the hardest thing in my opinion to quit. think about it... everywhere you go you will see people that smoke. its different then drugs. at least you can get away from people who do that. but smoking, all you have to do is walk out the door and im sure you'll smell someone smoking. but dont think your a looser. just try again when your ready! good luck! keep your head held high, at least you tried.
Dude! Willpopwer has nothing to do with it at all. Willpower is making a decision and then forgetting about the decision in the hopes that the decision is stronger than the earlier decision you made to start smoking.
You must make the decision to quit every day or every hour or as necessary. And then keep deciding not to smoke.
You quit dope cause you had reasons to quit it. You had suffered enough. But you don't need a reason to quit smoking, you just need the decision to quit smoking, over & over.
Me............I'm enjoying one now.........

No one has any right to force data on you
and command you to believe it or else.
If it is not true for you, it isn't true.

Hi EvilAngel
quitting smoking was easy, i must have quit 29 times.
but if you get it right just once, you win.
next time your motivated to try again, ask your doctor for a prescription for ZYBAN.
i know it works, as many i know have been able to quit. you supply the willpower and it looks after the cravings.
don't sweat not making it this time, when ready to try again your odd's actually improve, because your more motivated.
good luck.

I tried Zyban this week.
It gave me major fvcking headaches!!!!
I have to set my mind, and quit cold turkey again I guess. I stayed away from smoking for ten months and started again.
Cold turkey was about four days of pure hell, then after that it got easier.

Hi RoundEye
sorry to here Zyban didn't work for you. as your Dr. probably told you, it effects some people in a negative way.
a younglady friend of mine and her mother as well, suffered a rash from it and had to give it up
maybe the patch or something else might help you.
it's the hardest thing i ever had to do.all those years of smoking makes it tough. but if you can, man it sure feels better.
take care and keep trying.

Cigarettes increase stress, they do not relieve it.
so true...
What I ment by the stress part is, I just gave up because I was stressed and basicaly approched the situation in an adolesant mannor.
