Wireless site survey in Vista ?

Many tools for wireless site surveying, such as Netstumbler do not work with Windows Vista. The Vista GUI does not display channel information either.

However, there is a way to get wireless network information, including ap channel / ssid and signal strength using the netsh command. Just enter command prompt (Start > Run > type: command), and type:

netsh wlan show networks mode=bssid
