 Can I use a US cable modem in different countries?
As long as they are using the exactly same standard. A DOCSIS cable modem will not work on a EuroDOCSIS system and vice versa. For one thing the downstream (TV) channel width is different. Also note the difference in AC voltage and power plugs.
