Well I think that I didn't explain well my situation.

When I open the Internet Explorer and when I expand the adress bar to look my last URL's , it didn't appear nothing. There were no Url's in there.

But now If I start to type an adress , the AutoComplete works well , I'm able to see the Url's ...

History - Not Being Saved.

Good night. I'ld like to know your suggestions about this problem that started for few days. Everytime when I reboot the system the adress that were stored in the adress bar dissapear . It means that History isn't working. I'm using IE 6 and I do not have any VirusScan 6 as Kellys XP Korner ...

There is any way in WinXP the icon for the normal folders( when u go to New>Folder) appear always of our choosing?

I've been searching on registry ... something like :

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\DefaultIcon

?

We can't customize ?

When I type in the adress bar ''www.speedguide.net'' , it gives me the message ''about:blank'' , it just works when I type "http://www.speedguide.net''...

Since a while , when I finish Internet Explorer/Outlook Express , it appears on desktop , an unknown file called ''~''.

Anyone have an ideia what this means?

Windows XP Startup question...

I created a shortcut and put the program in Start Menu/Startup.
I tried also put the program in

C:\Documents and settings\All users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

and in:

C:\Documents and settings\ Username\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

But the program doesn't open in startup and it is just 49k ...

One question.......

In Win95/98 we can use dos commands to make a batch file to delete all that stuff . ( temp, temporary internet, cookies, and history file, including all subdirectories)...
Just copy the text below and save in Notepad as whateveryouwant.bat.
