WinXP question

Post by DREK »

There is any way in WinXP the icon for the normal folders( when u go to New>Folder) appear always of our choosing?

I've been searching on registry ... something like :

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\DefaultIcon

?

We can't customize ?

Thanks in advance. :D

Maybe a customizing program or something...beats me, though.

Another problem.

I just got a new computer with XP Pro at work. I used IE6 before with NT and this machine also has IE6. When I clicked on a drop down arrow on a web page before, the drop down would open to the selection I was on and also drop below 5 to 6 lines of the rest of the drop down menu. Now in XP I get the drop down menu opening both above and below the current point and showing almost all of the items in the drop down menu. For example the Forum Selection drop down here at SG. Or the forum selection drop downs on Home Theater Forum and DVD Talk, 2 other sites I frequent. Anyway to make it behave like it did under NT and 98.
