Battery issue
I'm going to switch the battery out tonight and see what happens. Will I have to reload the motherboard software after the battery change?

That boot.ini was on a system backup file on my secound drive F:
I just copied it from there and saved it to my c: boot.ini file. It's now working fine. Thank you for your help and tell kenny for me, Skyman say's hello!

i did the above and there is nothing in my boot ini file? I did a file search for boot.ini and found a c:WINDOWS/pss, opened with wordpad and this was there:

I bought the thermaltake volcano 7+ localy,had no probelm's putting it on cpu,but temp really went up,well past what stock fan/sink was at,took it off,checked it out ,put back on,still run's hotter than stock.Right now,my cpu temp is 40 cel,107 f.With the thermaltake,i would be @ 125 f.Any idea's ...

I have aP4b533 mobo,2.0 cpu,Ocing to 2.6,with good case cooling.Temp on cpu after OCing only went up @ 10 degrees and system seem's to be fine.Need advice on best/good cooling system for P4.Also,is there a place @ here to buy good cooling,i don't like credit card usage on web!!!!!!!!

OCing P4
went from 2.0 to 2.6,see's to be stable,ran nascar 2002 for @1 hour and temp never went past 107.i get cpu frq out of range on post,but i can deal with that.am going to upgrade to a real cpu cooler monday.Have been surfing,comparing cooling fan/sink,don't know which one yet.will take all advice ...

Thank's for your help,my friend.Great link,helped alot!!!!After OCing,temp went up on cpu @ 10 degrees to 107,used to run @ 93 to 97,do you think that will hurt system?i have plenty of cooling,so i think i should be ok.Your advice would be helpful.

best multimedia hardware config that won't break the bank
Looking to build a "decent" multimedia setup. Have ATX box, everything else is crap. Have some ideas, but looking for advice on motherboards, multimedia hardware, best CPU type and any other advise you can give me.
