Well Phil I pinged your site 5 times 3 of them time failed to load.
The other two were 25% loss and 50% loss.
I usually round trip hit between 246ms 258ms.
LOL My last one was at 1339ms
One more time man now i'm at zero percent loss and sitting at 241ms average.Go figger Now I'm back up again ...

Evening caveman when downloading what do you have your window set at?.Under download from server open window and make sure it says download http://www.grisoft.cz this way you are downloading direct from avg site.
I found this is faster and more reliable.cheers

mnosteele52 yes i have cablenut installed but I do install manually always have.
Like the hands on approach.
I use REGEditX to enter manualy, which when entering any info in the registry or changing this reg program takes me rite back to my last ...

Ahhhhhhh thks Lobo that hit the nail on zee head, man thks for the wakeup call.I was trying to figure out and not thinking that the dword value would apply to win 2000,XP and not win 98se. More experimenting rite?

ok mine is the same but my TOS is set as a string value.If I set it as a dword value it shows nothing under IP type of service field (RFC1349)= Yet it is recommended to use the dword value.is this correct?
