I have heard Asus are nice, but which model? I heard they had a nice Athlon DDR board. I am not goin for the dual chip because there isn't really a use for it.

Alright, new idea.

Alright, I am not going to go with the Pentium, I will (for the first time in my life) try the AMD. I am doing this for 2 reasons. Cost and upgradablity. I have heard that the AMD proccessors are much easier to upgrade down the line, and not to mention are a whole lot less than the P4.

I have taskmonitor, systray, "loadpowerprofile", "NvInitialize" and ZoneAlarm and when i start up i only have 88% system resources free... I am trying to figure out why? I used to get 99% free and i only had one less thing (zonealarm) load up.

its not just napster though. I have it on min for local and medium for internet. if i had them both on high, it would take me much longer to get on a webpage, if it even let me... anyone know of another good free (or close to free) firewall? ZA is really busting my balls lately.

alright i fixed it. Somehow (and dont ask me if i even have a clue how) my bios was set to failsafe defaults, which in turn does not designate drive A to anything. once i switch A back over, it was fine. Thanks for the help, you guys are the best.
