Cas2.. what?
Cas2.. what?
i keep reading about this cas2-2-2 and cas2-3-2 (any combo of 2 and 3) what is this? Is this referring to the bios setting that contains the cas settings? I tried to set all of mine to 2 and it just screwed some things up, so i went and changed them all back to 3. What is cas2 and why is it so important to everyone?

or you could just tell him.......
In very very general terms, cas is the speed of your ram. cas 2 ram is faster than cas 3 ram. get cas 2. you can somethimes overclock your memory to cas 2, but in your case, i guess its not working.

i thought thats all it was, was the speed. I am sure there is a whole lot more invovled though. I tried the settings at 2-2-2. I will have to try out some other configurations.
BTW: would it say on the box that it is cas2 or 3? i just bought 256 pc133 (for a total of 512) the other day and i dont see it anywhere on the box.
