Alright boys, help me out!

Alright here is my situation.
I am going to take my current mobo, cpu, sound card, video card, cd-rw out of my system and replace it. I am going to take the old stuff, buy a case and 300 watt power supply and put all of the old stuff in there along with a 10/100 NIC. I am then going to replace my current computer and make it an inhouse server.
what equipment should i get? I will not upgrade for a long time (just the way my dad is) so i want to get as good as possible now.
here is what im thinking:
P4 1.5ghz
256 pc800 RDRAM
GeForce 2 Ultra
SB! live platinum
16x/10x cd-rw
3-com NIC
good/no? suggestions needed!

Should tide you over for awhile, but I'd wait just a little longer to buy an Ultra, as they will probably be near 200 dollars sooner than you think.

syncmaster... this was his suggestion. he told me to find a system that wouldnt need upgrading for awhile, whether or not he will take my suggestions is a totally different story. I might go with an AMD 1.3ghz when they come out and get 512 MB pc133 since it would be A LOT cheaper.
oh yes, any suggestions on the mobo?

me too, 1.3Ghz came out and it KICK PIV's @$$ badly...well, even my OCed 1.2 kicked 1.5Ghz's @$$

What kind of HD u planning to get, if you are planning to get like a 40GB, i suggest u to get two 20GB (identical) so u can use raid

On the computer that is going to be a server. I have 2 19.1 GB harddrives using raid reading at 1 38.2 harddrive. I plan on getting a small harddrive for the other computer. Its basically for games and internet usage.
