I am ill so I played a bit with my hardware, oc´in...

I ask me which setting may be the fastest for folding and 3dmark/games etc...

I know that my Athlon900 has a shabby Core (green) for oc´in...but I try following settings:

7*143=1ghz not stabile but fast
*no pics*


7*142=994 not really stabile look at my results:

Further I changed it to 7*133=933 and I think thats the most reliable speed/stabile construction, or?

I had it a long time at 9*111 to have a ghz processor but I want more GFX(fsb) and MEM speed.

What do you think? Do you have/had similar experience or any advises?

I dont have a suggestion for ya, but I would be interested in what other people have to say. I do have a question for you though, I have 3dMark2001 and i use it to test my graphics everytime i make a change. I would like to get a hold of the other 2 programs that you used, where can i get a download of them?

If not I'm not mistaken, the other two programs are SiSoft Sandra and wcpuid.

wcpuid is freeware and can be downloaded from the author HoDa's web site. Just go to google and search for it. It will come up.

And for SiSoft Sandra, the procedure is a little different. You can either buy the software or download it illegally off the net though ftp for the most part.

I'm not getting into suggestions on that part. Most people have already made up their mind on that issue. -el bob

you can d/l SiSoft Sandra at www.tweakfiles.com (search for sisoft). it will be the shareware version, but it has pretty much all you will need except the network benchmarking module.

you can d/l wcpuid at www.h-oda.com (h. oda is the autor of the program) for free as well.
