Is there any way of Adelphia seeing how many PCs are behind a router?
I am using a Netgear RT311 and an Netgear 8-port switch, which is being used to share my cable connection between 5 PCs.
I was told that Adelphia could see how many PCs were sharing the connection. Is this true?
I am using the latest firmware and everything is showing stealth.

Re: dont get it
The bin file is the actual firmware, the rom file is the default factory settings or configuration file.
Click on "File" under "Maintenace".

If you have any custom filters, make sure you write them down before doing the following.
In the Web-Based Configurator, under "Maintenance" click "File", then click the "Restore" Tab. Browse and find "romfile0.314" and click "UPLOAD". After that the router should reboot.
Now all you need to do is ...

I'm guessing you have a SBLive!...correct? Ditch it and get a new one. It's based on old technology that hasn't been updated in a couple of years. I was a die hard SBLive owner until I bought the Santa Cruz from Turtle Beach. They are about to release a newer one also. You might even try the Philips ...

Personally I think most of those speed test sites aren't worth a crap. You have to consider how many hops the server is away from you, whether the server is overloaded, and a number of other things.

Had the same problems with the Linksys POS, downloads would hang, and really slow. Shipped it back and got the Netgear RT311, havn't had a problem since. Netgear or should I say Zyxel adds something new to every firmware version they put out. Next addition I hear is the abiltity to input port ranges.
