Problem after upgrade RT314

Post by Charlie »

Just hooked up router today.Everything seemed fine......I could connect to the net send and receive e-mail all was well. Then I decided to upgrade the software to version 3.24 all seemed to go well (file received ok)But now I can't get back in to the Set up Wizard.
I open up browser type in the address (192.168.0.1 just like before plus the login)and the page loads up BUT only half of it.The Right side. The Left side were you can pick Setup Wizard...Advance...Does Not show up.

How can That be fixed? I can still connect and receive e-mail. But I can't get that page to load correctly.
I'm running win Me with Optonline cable

Thanks
Charlie :(

Where did you get 3.24 from? It's not even listed on Netgear's site?

Did you try flashing back?

The v3.24 firmware fixes the abiltiy to get to my sb3100 cable modem's internal configuration page (192.168.100.1). Never was able to do that before, unless I removed the router.

Delete your browser's cache, and go back to the page. Your browser is still using the old page.

After flashing the ROM, reboot the router, then reboot the LAN PC's.

I found that this is needed for most changes to either the router configuration, or local LAN PC configurations.

The suggestion to flush web page cache is another potential solution.
