I do alot of large file swapping between my server and my main comp and my 10/100 router is slowing me down. I dont really have the cash for a new gigabit router but i do have a extra gigabit nic in each computer. Can i just use a crossover cable and network em?
Bonus problem... I want file ...

Hey i need a way for my computer to play a sound file every 15 minutes for about 4 hours.
I waz thinking just making a sound file with a 15 min gap of silence but if there was maybe a timer program or something that would be coo.

Anyone know how i can ghost a windows 2000 server HDD from one to another? Ghost sees it but it wont let me use the 2k drive as a source. Something to do with dymanic vs something.

I used to know how to add a EULA or any kind of text pop up in windows xp whenever a user logs in. For the life of me i cant remeber tho.

We use a symantec proxy server for our medium sized network to block sites. The problem we are running into as we set computers to use this new proxy is that for some wierd reason on websites that have a drop down menu, when u click the menu u get a error and windows wants to debug.

After getting into the planetside beta a few weeks ago i have become completely emorsed in it. I have become so addicted that when the servers go down for patches (like right now) I feel like computers have no other use than to spam sg, and play planetside.
