ASPI Messed up

hey guys, well looks like somehow my aspi drivers got messed, i cant burn a cd using ANY program, ive done a repair install of windows, and installed aspi drivers again...still no go..

anyone have any ideas?

try force aspi 1.7

search google for it

dang, force didnt work and that sencond link didnt work, thanks for the try tho..

maybe if i elaborate that might help.


When i try and run EZCD creator i get:
"Cannot initialize API
Please Reinstall the Roxio Software"


and when i try and install nero i get:
An error hsa occurred during the ciopy process (file name :MSVCRT.dll)

Zmoney, I have the same problem. Have you ever found a fix for the problem.

I would guess that something else uses that dll as well, and since it is running, can't be overwritten.

Use a process viewer to see what dll's are in use http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_d ... 02,00.asp, and what program(s) are using them, and shut down those programs before installing EZCD.

I would uninstall first and reboot too.
