About Norton, everything was running fine after building the server and migrating from 5.5 to 2000. We installed Norton AV and from then on, we couldn't dequeue mail.

For some reason, the server just wouldn't ping out no matter what we tried and we had no default gateway. The ISP was stumped and ...

Was Exchange installed previously, and you've re-installed onto another server? If so, was the the original prior install an upgrade from 5.5? Did you have an AD connector configured previously for that install?

That sounds about right.

Exchange 5.5 was installed on a different server before ...

Exchange 2000 & Mailboxes

Hello,

Having done a fresh OS/Exchange2k install on a server, I
cannot delete or create mailboxes on old users. The error
message is;

"There is no Connection Agreement configured to export
this recipient to the Exchange 5.5 server."

This is happening when going through ADUC, user > Exchange ...

Yep, this is on a 2k domain. It's already been set via the group policy but I'd like to turn it off and for the life of me can't see anything that sounds like an option that restricts right click or menus.

Does anyone know what the GPO is to dis/enable right click in Win2k?

Also, is there a way to enable right clicking in IE (to save pics) but also disable right clicking everywhere else?

Thanks

It's quite odd. The machines are identical.

I had to reinstall from scratch and that seems to work, but I have no idea why the image doesn't work as it does on other machines.

Ah well..

Thanks anyway guys.

Win2000 crash/reset on startup

Hi all!

Just installed an Win2000 image on quite a new PC and when it starts up, it goes into a reset loop. All it does is load the screen with the bars at the bottom and then reset itself.

It's got a new BIOS, temp is fine and this is happening on several PC's. It won't enter into safe mode ...

Pretty poor game to be honest, England played badly but congratulations to Brazil.

Rivaldo dives too much and the winning goal was lucky or clever, I can't tell which.

What was that referee on though? That was never a red card offence.

Thanks for the info Seed :)

I shall decline the brochure though, it would be far far too tempting to spend money I don't have. I think Mercedes has the perfect silver colour, it suits every model of car they make.

I think it's our duty to learn and document history. Remember those huge 2000 year old statues that the Taliban/Al Qaida destroyed? Now they are gone for good and it would only be a matter of time before someone did the same to the Egyptian tombs.

Plus, there is always a chance, regardless of how ...

How to whistle?

Hello,

This may sound quite odd, but can someone explain how to whistle loudly? I don't mean just using pursed lips but the really loud type that Coaches seem to do with their fingers.

My girlfriend says to put your fingers in and use your tongue but her explanation is somewhat lacking..
