Win2000 right click GPO?

Post by magg »

Does anyone know what the GPO is to dis/enable right click in Win2k?

Also, is there a way to enable right clicking in IE (to save pics) but also disable right clicking everywhere else?

Thanks

No problem, I understand.

I haven't looked through the GPO enough yet to know where to find that setting.

If you haven't got it figured out by tonight I will give a look see. Are you on a 2k domain? Can you set it as a domain policy?

Yep, this is on a 2k domain. It's already been set via the group policy but I'd like to turn it off and for the life of me can't see anything that sounds like an option that restricts right click or menus.

I didn't see anything either. Looks like your going to have to turn them off one at a time and set it at the domain controller level to enforce it through out the domain.

to completly disable menu's when you right click open the GPE and go to user configuration-->administrative templates--->windows components and select the policy " disable windows explorer default context menus"

I know you can disable the save-as from the menus as well as a majority of the other items when you right click but I dont think you can have only the save-as option.
Will Work For FSB

I must have been blind. I thought there was one as well but I just couldn't find it.
