Lots of good info here http://forum.sounddomain.com/
Give me a little more about what stuff you have and what you need to know and I'll give you some details.
I know quite a bit about setting up car audio.

Re: Car stereo wiring
if you are going to just use a head unit and speakers and no amp, then like was said, the factory wiring will be fine, you only need "thick" cables when you are running power and ground for an amp of some kind, and speaker wire gauge only makes a difference on large woofers with alot of outboard power.Originally posted by YARDofSTUF

you should only need a metra 70-7550 harness and a metra nissan antenna adaptor and you WILL NOT NEED A KIT if you have the factory radio brackets and coin pocket, all modern head units will bolt right up to the nissan radio brackets,

and if you get a metra adaptor, all you have to do is match color for color to the kenwood or any radio harness ,it's really easy.
like this, you will get the harness for the radio on the *right* and the harness to the car on the *left* and connect color to color basically.
and then if you have the nissan radio brackets and coin pocket, the new radio will mount together just like the factory radio did.
I woke up this morning, had them Statesboro Blues.
I looked over in the corner, and Grandpa seemed to have them too.

cool, pics make learning easy lol
how do i remove the old one?
remove the plastic panel below the steering column, then pop up the trim piece around the shifer, then you will see four screws there ,then two more screws above the radio, and one more under the left side panel, then pull up from the shifter side of the console face and hinge upward and then you can release two or three little clips along the top and don't forget to unplug the lighter, then the coin pocket and radio come out with 4 phillips screws as one unit.
