Baily's Irish Cream...yum yum

Post by mikemean »

Got a bottle of it today, mmmmmm but I have never had a bottle of it before. So, my question is do I keep it in the refrigerator or in the cupboard?

I think it can live in the cabinet. Read the label. That stuff rocks in coffee.

Label doesn't say. I guess I'll keep in the fridge, I'd rather drink it cold than warm (unless it's in Coffee like you said).

EDIT-- I guess if I would have read the fine print, then I would have noticed that it said to leave it out to get the full flavor.

I got mine FREE :D A lady my mom works with gave it to us. Brand new bottle not even out of the box. Mom tried it and doesn't like it. I have tried it before and love it! But, it doesn't go well with beer so I won't be drinking any more tonight.

Yup. Room temp and it'll be fine for years.

Great stuff. Too sweet to have a lot at once, but perfect for a lazy Sunday cup of coffee. :)

Try this for a great cocktail;

Baileys Comet
------------------

1 shot Baileys
1 shot Vodka

Simple but brilliant :)

Keep @ room temperature and drink with ice :) yummy

Or, use in B-52's...

take a shotglass and fill it:
-1/2 with Bailey's
-1/4 with Tia Maria
-1/4 with Cointreau. Hold an inverted spoon above the glass and slowly pour the Cointreau so it doesn't mix with the other two.

Now light the Cointreau and drink it all with a straw while it's still burning!!! BOOM. Especially fun in the dark when you can see the blue flame :D

Always keep it in the refrig.
If kept at room temp, ity will not spoil cause the alcohol will kill the bacteria that attempt to drink it before you do, but it's nice to have it cold & ready to go!

Here's a tip:

Next time, try a similar product called "Caroline's". It tastes the same as Baily's for half the money and it's just as good.
