one suggestion that i have..i had the same problem with adelphia here in georgia and i had to call the tech and they had to enter all the new addresses for the usb to work...maybe ...give a try can't hurt

i did that and it did not help...thanks for the reply..i finally figured out how to word the problem though..so maybe it is not as confusing..i can't have two pages open at the same time...seems easy enough huh?

i hit F5 and nothing happened..all i did was a fresh install of winxp pro and then windows updates..i have installed all windows updates that it offered..but i believe that is all i did.

i don't have the option to refresh..all i can do is look at it or close it. this problem is very troublesome..you don't know how nice it is till its gone...

i just tried again and the page just says internet explorer on the top left and the minimize, restore, quit on the top right

just found an example if i click on the replies button to my thread it tries to open up a page..but it just stays white and nothing will ever come up

basically..but only if that link opens another page..now if the link takes you to another site then it don't happen..what i am trying to get across i guess is it is almost like a pop up windows..if pop ups open on my computer then i can't see the page cuz it just displays a white page...god i am ...

Internet Explorer Problem

Just wondering if anyone could tell me how to fix this problem. I have recently installed win xp pro and I am having just this one problem. Everytime I get on internet (cable access) when I request a page it comes up just fine but if there is a link that i click on in that page that opens another ...

started out using the one that it came with not sure of number but now i am using 2000 and it works perfect and also adds enhancements that the first didn't have, but all in all it works just fine for all your burning needs.

I've used it. In fact it came with my burner from memorex. I have never had any problem with it at all. Used it to burn music, programs etc.. will do it all. Probably not the best out but it is a great program.

thanks for the reply storm90. Actually when i clicked the go back to original setup it erased both the internet explorer and the outlook express entry. But however i did find out that it unchecked my outlook express in the windows setup field. so i checked it and now i am back in business..thanks ...

Email Question Uninstall IE6

After I uninstalled ie6 and it asked if I wanted to go back to previous version I clicked yes. Now there is no email icon on the desktop or internet explorer. Is there a way to get it back..I'm running on winme using ie 5.50
I was using outlook express.

Well i got 2734. I guess that is about up to par. Got Amd duron 700@1040/128mb ram/geforce 2 pro 64mb. Have to agree with Brent that nature scene in demo is really awesome..

el bob, I run a duron 700 at 1.04ghz and I use the fop-38 so that should do you just right..alittle noisy but it is good...

I used to have this problem but to fix mine all I had to do was go and set up optimal refresh rate and the problem hasn't come back..It worked for me

I would like to say that after reading the posts in this forum for a while that I finally had the courage to try to overclock my duron 700..Well today I finally got the gig I was trying for actually it is 1.04g(104*10)..Just saying thanks..I really didn't know how valuable heat sink compound was ...

Overclock

I just finished overclocking my duron 700 to 954..here's the question before when it was running at 784 the 3d benchmarks and games had a faster framerate..this may be a stupid question but if you know give me some info..oh by the way when it was at 784 i upped the fsb to 112*7 then i played around ...

can someone please tell me how to hook this fan up. I am doing it just for looks basically but I don't know how to do it. All I know is that it has two black wires coming out of the fan..I feel stupid even asking but oh well gotta start somewhere..So if someone could direct me I would be very happy ...

Hi, I also wondered about this question before and just tested to make sure..but my conclusion was that it did not matter if I was directly hooked in or if it was split..my caps are 3000 down and 256 up..i am split three times before it ever sees my cable modem and I hit the cap consistantly..Hope ...

Ah if only..nope wish i could take credit for that but it is not my rig..I wish it were..I will eventually get there though I just got through putting the dremel through my case..it is not too pretty but i guess i need some fan covers..haha.well anyway thanks.... :)

scum333 thanks for all the replies..i did the red to yellow and black to red thing and it worked for me in fact my temp is now at about 36-39c so it is better than normal go figure..oh well whatever works i am all for. once again thanks

thanks for reply i am now trying to just get the two fans running at there first fast speed..something happened to the connectors on the motherboard cuz now if i plug in the fans they don't move..i don't see any burns or anything don't smell anything so i don't know why this is so..that big fan is ...

Ok here is the deal I have been reading all these articles on more fans better cooling so forth so on..so i went and bought some fans, cut holes blah blah blah..here is the question can someone tell me why the fans that i hook up to the motherboard spin faster than the exact same fan i have hooked ...
