yes capped at 256. went to site tried 1000, buffered twice. 750 was no problem. don't quite understand, when i go to sites and download large files like from 3dfxgamers.com, i get download speeds of 1240.

i have bellsouth adsl. it is 1.5mbs down and 256kbs up. what should i expect realistly. also if my downloads show in KBs, do i multiply that number by 8 to get kb's?

charter pipeline is by far the worse. i dropped em bout a month ago for dsl. its 5 times faster. charter at home however is another story.
