33. Are changes from the TCP Optimizer permanent ?

The changes from the TCP Optimizer are semi-permanent. They'll survive reboots, however they may be affected by installing a Windows Service pack, or updating your Network Card drivers, for example.

You can always revert changes from the program's "File > Restore Windows Defaults" or "Restore backed up settings" menus. In some extreme cases where you have problems with Internet connectivity, the program allows for resetting TCP/IP and Winsock from the "File" menu as well.

my TCP/IP manual settings constantly revert to WIn 7 Pro x64 defaults ruining my RDP LAN connection speed to my XP Pro client.
How can I make these changes permanent ( there have been no driver/Windosw updates to cause this)
