2. What hardware does the site run on ?

The site started on a webhosting plan in 1998, however we've gone through a few dedicated servers and a number of companies since then.
We were colocating at the BtN NOC near MAE East, with Hostaway in downtown Tampa, and currently we're at the 421 West Church St. data center facility in Jacksonville, FL.

We maintain a couple of 1U/2U Linux servers with redundant PSUs, Raid1 SSDs, ECC DRAM, on-site and off-site backups, etc. to reduce redundancy and minimal downtime.

The site runs on modern Linux, Apache, MariaDB SQL database backend, and is coded mostly in PHP, with a few C programs for good measure. Pages are dynamically generated, and the entire site is maintained remotely via SSH, as well as a custom web-based administration interface.
