It works by receiving the wireless signal from a router and then amplify and rebroadcast it around locally. With a wifi repeater computers and printers that are located out of the original range of access point can access the extended wi-fi network.
The WS-WN518W2 has one 10/100Mbps LAN port. It is WDS compatible and features a WPS button.
